We get many calls on, "How to choose the right size bed for my dog?"
When preparing to purchase a new pet bed we know you will be considering price as well as comfort. But, you must remember that when in doubt about which size to purchase you should always go with a larger size. Also, another helpful tip is that with pillow beds subtract three inches from the measurements due to the fill of the bed. This holds true for any bed on the internet unless "loft" sizes are mentioned!

So, right from the 'tip' of Brownie's tail to his nose may we suggest:
- most accurate measurements come when you pet is lying down
- start at his rear or back legs and measure to the tip of his nose
- add approximately 8 " - 10" to your dog's length
- you now have an approximate measurement for your new pet bed
*If your pet sleeps curled up - measure the longest distance across and add 10" - 12"; you may also want to consider a nest, bolster, or donut beds as they are a great choice because they "hug" your dog as he sleeps!
